Spring is just around the corner, and so is the month of May. With that, we are excited to announce that we are fast approaching our first year anniversary! We began to service computers in our new space in May of last year, and had our official opening in June with friends and family. In August, we had our Grand Opening as well.
Look for special events over the next several months to celebrate this achievement!

Windows 8 Consumer Preview Setup will check to see if your PC can run Windows 8 Consumer Preview and select the right download. Setup also features a compatibility report and upgrade assistance. Built-in tools for creating an ISO or bootable flash drive are available for some previous versions of Windows (excluding Windows XP and earlier). You can find system requirements and additional information in the FAQ and in the links on this page.
Note before you download: Windows 8 Consumer Preview is prerelease software that may be substantially modified before it’s commercially released. Microsoft makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the information provided here. Some product features and functionality may require additional hardware or software.
The Jobs family has released the following statement yesterday regarding his death:
“Steve died peacefully today surrounded by his family.
In his public life, Steve was known as a visionary; in his private life, he cherished his family. We are thankful to the many people who have shared their wishes and prayers during the last year of Steve’s illness; a website will be provided for those who wish to offer tributes and memories.
We are grateful for the support and kindness of those who share our feelings for Steve. We know many of you will mourn with us, and we ask that you respect our privacy during our time of grief.”
We are now offering free computer recycling here at Computer Works Pro. Bring in your old computer equipment and we will recycle it at no cost to you.
When it’s time to sell, recycle or retire a computer, it is not enough to simply delete files or reformat a disk. File contents are still recoverable after deleting or reformatting a hard drive, exposing your private data to whomever has your old computer. We have the tools to wipe a disk completely clean to the highest industry standards as defined by the Dept. of Defense standards for disk sanitization.

Computer Works Pro, Inc. is a computer consulting business that offers a wide array of services such as sales, repair, networking, virus removal, upgrades, computer training, website design, hosting and domain registration.
Owner, Ken Corpus, has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and over 30 years of experience. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional, CompTIA A+ Certified and an HP Business Partner. Ken has been providing quality services to customers in Monroe County since 2002. Computer Works Pro, Inc. recently opened a new storefront on Empire Boulevard near Baytowne Plaza in Webster. Services are available to those in the Rochester and surrounding areas. To celebrate the new storefront, Computer Works Pro, Inc. will be holding a Grand Opening event the week of August 15th.
